How can I earn points for my college?
You
can earn points for your college in two ways:
team events and individual events. During the
week there are four team competitions:
Trivia Challenge,
Ridiculous Relays,
Lip Sync, and
Yard Art. You can also earn points as an
individual in three ways. You may earn
“Participation” points simply by attending
designated events during Truman Week, collecting the
appropriate cards, and turning the cards in to your
Student Advisor (SA). You can earn “Exploring
Truman” points by visiting certain offices
around campus, picking up cards at the various
locations, and turning the cards into your SA.
Finally, you can accumulate points for your college
by participating in a number of activities designed
to help you learn about and celebrate diversity.
Cards are also distributed at the
Diversity activities. Diversity point
cards are also turned into your SA. Be sure to
turn in your cards for the Participation, Diversity
and Exploring events before midnight on Friday.

Does it matter if I don't participate in the College
Cup 2008 Challenge?
You
are invited to participate. The purpose of the
College Cup Challenge is to build cohesion within
the Residential Colleges, to promote some friendly
competition, to give you an opportunity to display
your talents and get acquainted with your new home,
and to make sure that you have something to laugh,
shout, scream, chant, sing and even bark about
during your Truman Week experience.
Participation in the College Cup competition is not
mandatory.
